I have started the Lemon Law process on my 535i and BMW has requested to inspect the car... Is this just routine?
Also what has other peoples experience been with BMW and Lemon Law, have you won and what was the outcome?
What are the chances that BMW will give me a brand new car if I win? Please give me some scenarios that I can expect...

Long story short, its mainly electrical issues... Instances of the battery discharging until the car is no longer operable...Several trips to dealerships failing to fix the issue... BMW failing to admit issue and take responsibility instead blame me for not driving fast enough long enough.... I own the car

Several people who have gone through this with a 535 have stepped up to an M3. I wonder what BMW offers if you win the Lemon Law case that has provided several people the opportunity to step up to a a much more expensive vehicle.

Lemon Laws vary from state to state. You need to find out what the requirements are. If I remember correctly here in Ohio it is the same problem, which has to be significant, three times in a certain amount of time, or multiple problems that put the car out of service for so many days. I think there is also a limit to the amount of times. 1 or 2 years is the limit.
Terms like significant and service are the things people argue about.
As far as a remedy, that will be up to BMW. I think they can do a buy back or give you a new car, but if they give you a new car you have to pay for the use of your old car - like 10 cents per mile you drove.
I got a new saturn in 1993 from the lemon law. The rear main seal had to be changed every time I got my oil changed.
You need to look up the terms of the lemon law in your state.

Or you can put lots of lemon stickers all over your car, and real lemons in your car and park outside the stealership. Only if all else fails ofcourse. Remember you always have choices

Also if you have started a Lemon law process BMW CS will not deal with you any more, they send you straight to Legal. It will be a long drawn out process that can take up to 2 years, and usually ends up being settled right before the trial between BMW Legal and your Lawyer....
The only one that comes out on top ... the lawyers since they get paid no matter what.
There are some cases on other boards talking about the process
The other thing that usually happens before this step is BMW buying the car back from you. But I thought I saw that you were in Canada so this may be different there. Once you break out the lawyer on them things usually go to pot and move as fast a glacier during an ice age.
