He's got the correct seats and yes he has the SP. Pretty sure that is Rudy's old car that the OP purchased...

What do you mean "correct seats"?!?! I know that the 20-way power multi-contour seats come with the sport package, but his pics shows that his are not the 20-way seats? Page 12 of the 2008 E60 brochure show them as part of the sport package, so I'm curious as to how he doesn't have them. Can you have the sport package without them? Just curious............

How are you sure they aren't? The picture showing the controls is very poor quality but they appear to be the same controls on my 2008 550 w/ SP. Rudy also had the ventilated seats though I've never seen those in person so not sure how they differ from the non-ventilated seats I had...

Because they look totally different to mine, and those in Rudy's car. Look at the seam running down the center of the seats, and the space where the thigh supports move in and out.

I doubt whether there would be 2 completely different style seats for the same model year.

As I said, I'm just curious as his seats look totally different to any seats I've seen in a 550i with sport package. I'd be interested to know what causes the variation. I'm guessing it has something to do with the ventilated seats. I can only surmise at this point.......

I see what you mean about the stripe. Mine did not have that either and I looked for pics of Rudy's '08 550 but can't come across any. None in his gallery...

Could be the ventilated seats, don't know how to explain the difference. Maybe the seat covering was changed as part of the CPO process and that is new... Rest of the SP stuff is there so it's hard to imagine it is not equipped with SP.

I'm guessing it's the ventilated seats that makes the difference.

Yeah, I figured yours did as your seats are the same as mine. (note the seam down the center of the seats). I think the non-ventilated seats don't have that seam, like Chase0831 car in post #9 of this thread.

How are you liking the SAT?!?! Here is a really great thread where Rudy did a full review of the SAT. Read it ~ it's well worth it........
