2008 550i: How Much Louder??

My Ride: 2011 M3 Convertible, Alpine White/black, 6 speed
2011 535xi Tasmin Green, Venetian Beige
One of my very few complaints about my '06 550i is that it sounds a little weak. It's my understanding that the'08 has a better sounding exhaust system. Is this true and do you think that it sounds good enough to where I won't want/need to purchase an Eisenmann or Remus??

I had a 07 550i sport SMG and now drive a 08 550i sport auto, the 08 sound so much pleasing. acceleration in 2nd gear is music to the ear where the 07 could be barely heard.

My Ride: 2011, X6 Hybrid . Alpine White , every option. 20" Conti' NON runflats,OEM trunk spoiler , LUX V3 AE's , HP Thunder Fogs , custom front bumper reflector delete........
I know what you mean, I had an 07 and that deep V8 sound was missing, the 08s are much nicer sounding , but not quite as nice as the 6er, I'll bet you can live with it .............
