According to Tony (quad_m), as of Sept. 14, 2007, he has the '08 M-tech kits for sale.

So the Pre-LCI Kit Side Skirts are NOT a perfect fit for LCI cars?

So far, no one has a definitive answer on the fitment of pre-LCI kits on LCI cars. If we can figure out this answer, I'm sure a lot of people will order kits. I personally do not like the look of the reflectors and prefer the pre-LCI kits.

The pre-LCI kits will fit the LCI e60's with no problem whatsoever. As a matter of fact, I already ordered an '08 kit for my '04 545i. However, I do agree with you with the reflector looking kinda unattractive.

From who did you order the '08 kit? BMW tells me that there is no '08 kit for sale yet. Where did you order it and at what price??

It is quite simple to remove the reflectors and have them painted then reinstalled, They are indented into the bumper so they need to go back in after painting.

Cheers

In Germany, the M-Kit is a dealer installed option.

Also, why did you order the LCI kit for your pre-LCI? Is there some cosmetic change to the new kits that you liked? I can't see any difference.

Thanks...this is so confusing.

There is no LCI kit in the US. Tony (Quad M) has told me that the kits "are coming here", but he hasn't sent me a price or shipping info. Garry at BMW of Newport, who is a good friend to this forum, advised yesterday that there is no kit delivered or on sale here yet. My dealer in NJ has confirmed this as well. My guess, therefore, is that BMW will sell the M Aero kit that is presently installed by the factory on the 550i with sport package, but isn't offering it just yet. We have to wait. The only difference I would guess between the pre LCI and LCI is the orange reflectors, which, believe it or not, I actually like! Anyway, I hope this clears up some confusion??!!??

Alright everyone. I'm getting the pre-LCI kit from Tony and will let everyone know how the install will go. Hope it fits!

Thanks for help.
