I have been trying to upgrade my idrive software but the BMW website says it's up to date. I want to upgrade it to the newer version tho....is this possible?? Does anyone have the file they downloaded that they could share??

Are you talking about the new features like streaming blu tooth music, and album artwork on screen? If so, then you need hardware installed. A combox and somethign else I think.. kinda pricey. I'm sure someone else can chime in.. I've asked same question here about a year ago.
