I have to say other BMWs with more HP and lighter than yours are not making the numbers you show on Gtech. I suspect the calibration/setup. You really need to run a drag strip to validate your Gtech set up. Still impressed with your dyno results. One reason I am waiting for the first V8tt BMW puts in a 6er.
As far a TTV8 BMW released the some info on the X6 with TTV8, As soon as the put it in a 5 series I will definetly go in for a trade in

Sure
JB2 = $379
Hot Pill =$15
R = $99
All of these combined = JB2HR
http://www.bmwjuice.com/
They are different stages depending on how much power you want. I daily drive with JB2, wich is meant for 91 octane & still feels alot more powerfull than stock, plus %100 Reliable. On the JB2 my car ran 13.064 @ 108. Made 315 rwhp & 340 rwtq. Keep in mind that for some reason 335 makes mode power than the 535, so the numbers of power gains that are listed in the website are higher, because its what the 335 gets.
My exhaust is custom with stock chrome tips, so neat thing is you cant see that its modified, I originally started by trying out a similar setup to the 335, Dual 2.5 inch X pipe & magnaflow mufflers, with this setup i gained 6 rwhp but lost 10 tq, I imidiately change the exhaust system to single 3 inch catback, its a dual 2.5 to one 3 inch outlet magnaflow muffler then 3 inch to the rear of the car. this setup got me (my 10 tq back
) 4 rwtq & 7 rwhp over stock exhaust system, plus its a super quiet system and when you get on the gas you can hear the car pretty good. The second exhaust cost me $100 for the magnaflow muffler & 120 for labor of the custom exhaust work.
Magnaflow Muffler = $100
Labor & Parts = $120
K&N = $60
Total cost was $780
My car stock made 275 rwhp/ 264 rwtq
My car with these mods made 346 rwhp/ 385 rwtq
difference is 71 rwhp/ 121 rwtq
& 100% reliable, no limp modes, no problems whatsoever
.
I recently got my hands on some ultimate racing catless downpipes. Ill post some results when I install them.

With the Gtech its kinda hard to calibrate %100 exact, but I know its +/- 10%. The rpm on the gtech is about 100 rpm +/-. Mile per hour is also about 1-2 +/-. But as far as calibration its pretty accurate. There was a track near by where i live but recently closed down (LACR, Los Angeles County Raceway in Palmdale) I used to setup the Gtech on my other cars & results were very identical, once again +/- 10 %. Just because other cars are lighter and have more HP doesnt mean that its faster in all cases, I hear about 1000hp supras run 11's but then there are 600 hp mustang 5.0's that run 9's. Im not saying you're incorrect but those are indeed pretty accurate results that i got. As soon as the nearest track opens, (california speedway in Fontana) I will go test the car & post results.

Man, that's just amazing how cheap it is to mod this car and get some extraordinary results.

I can understand your thoughts on this. But you are comparing apples to oranges. When you start getting up into that type of horsepower you have to deal w/ delivering that power to the ground. Just because add tons of HP does not mean that you will see similar drops in ET. When I added 150+ hp to my mustang I needed do suspension work in order to take advantage of the HP gain and even then it took some time to optimize the real power meaning lots of track testing. You are talking a gain of what 60HP I don't see this over coming the Independent rear suspension on this car and causing it to not be able to handle it.. I am sure that the tires are braking loose but what about the Electronic nannies? I still have a really hard time believing that a car that weight is 3700 lbs before you put the driver in the car hit these numbers. The 1/4 mile times on a stock 535 is what 14.0 to 14.5. I find it really hard to believe that 60-70 hp reduced the 1/4 mile time by 2 sec. That is a huge feat for just bolting on the HP and nothing else even it the stock is 13.5 in the 1/4 I would have a really hard time seeing this. I really do hope that the G-tech is correct because if that is true then the 535 will become the new stealth racer and the M5 will only be reserved for people looking the name plate. I wonder what would happen to an M5 if you put 60-70 hp do you get 2 sec in return? I hate to be a skeptic but I have spent too much time wrenching engines looking for .1 sec on the track to believe that 70 HP found 2 secs.
