2008 528xi Check Engine Light

My 2008 528xi check engine light came on this morning. The car has 2300 miles and I've been using Shell V-Power since day 1. I stopped the engine and restarted the car. The light went off. I drove again in the afternoon, the car seems fine.
Any suggestions? Should I be concerned about it? I'm disappointed on the BMW quality. My previous Accord never had any issue for the past 5 years.

My Ride: 2008 528i, comfort package, space grey
I have a 2008 528i and my adaptive headlight warning came on and I am at 1200 miles and the same thing happened to me where it would stay on, but when I restarted my car, the warning light turned off. Let me know if you enounter any other problems.
