Default 2008 528i Precat o2 sensors

Bank 1 Precat: Bosch 17098
Bank 2 Precat: Bosch 17099

Can I use both 17098 for Precat. Are the differences only length and color?

If you know, and have done so on your car, please let me know if there is no harm to do so.
Thanks

The only difference is the wire length.

Thank you. And the color one black and the other silver I believe. If so, as long as I wrap the extra cable probably, it will work. I just want to see if anyone actually use this in the car.

Is there a problem getting the right ones for both spots? Price difference isn't much, but surprisingly the shorter one is more expensive...

Besides securing the extra wire safely, since the exhaust headers are so close, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I used the both the longer and shorter wire sensors when I replaced mine and the connectors are the same from what I remember.
