Hello...
Noob here doing some research and may be buying a used 550i with sport package. Wikipedia stated that starting with 2007, the m aero kit became standard on the 550i with sport package. Is this true? I have looked at several advertised and did not notice the kit.
If I have to get the kit separately, which one should go with? Also, where? From what I have read here, German Parts Online seems to be quite popular and claims to offer genuine BMW m aero kit parts. Appreciate any advice.

If you are talking about a US MY07, Aero kits were only available as a port installed or dealer add on. The MY08 included the Aero Kit with sport pkg.

The M Aero Kit is standard on the facelifted US MY 2008 550i with sport package. Outside the US, the facelifted E60 is still a MY 07. For several reasons, in the US the facelifted 5 series E60 is a MY 2008. If you don't get the 550i with sport package, and get the MY 2008, there is an Aero Kit you can order, but, as of this moment, it is a dealer-installed option. I'm told it may be a port installed option soon, but as of now, it is not. Look for my post on this subject which was posted on this forum on Monday 10/8.
