Can anybody confirm if the bmw 520d (2007) has a SAT NAV as standard? If not can I install it myself?

It can be retrofited, many on this forum have done it. Its not cheap and your car will need coding afterwards.
The fitting you can do your self if you decide to go ahead with it and I can help with the coding.
Parts you will need :-

CCC module
CID monitor
Controller, there's two, LCI and pre-LCI.
GPS antenna, most have gone with an after market one to make the install easier.
CCC fan wire harness.
Front dash trim suitable for CCC.

Sublime

Won't need a controller because M-ASK controller is the same as LCI without force feedback.

Thats if he has an LCI sublime, we didnt get LCI untill march/2007 so its possible he could have a pre-LCI.

I recently retrofitted CCC pro from a 2008 LCI into my 2007 pre-LCI. I am still using my old 'low' iDrive controller without coding. I think I saw some post about BMW got rid of haptic (force) feedback version iDrive controllers on LCIs?

If you are after a complete sell of pre-LCI CCC with Voice Input and 2012 maps, screen, antenna, controller them PM me. I think I've decided to sell the lot instead of it just sitting in my loft, just in case I need to put it back in. All in perfect condition.
