Thanks for the info! That is a great thread. Still undecided if I want to tackle the solenoids or send it in. Sure is a fun car, but seem to be working on it frequently these days.

I did the reman. It was just easier and gave a warranty. Personally, it seemed I was doing that around 120k but I haven't had to do anything but the szl and bluetooth module in the past 6 years besides regular maintenance. The $900 spent was well worth it and I've put almost 90k on it since without an issue. I have done one fluid change and time for another. I listed in that thread everything I did and the contact. Would you happen to know anything about suspensions if the car is dropped? Mine has a maybe 1" front and 2" in back drop kit of some sort. Thinking of doing the shocks because its making a rattle that's annoying in the front. The rear wheels also set outward, like there's a lot of weight in the trunk? Any ideas?

So your wanting to bring it back to stock. If so I would just go i a junk yard and get the front and rear shocks/strut assemblies. That would be the cheapest way to do it. And figure what else was changed and replace it. Remove the spacers and get it aligned again at a BMW or Indy shop.

So I got my parts in from cts and put everything in like the kylie said. I haven't yet put oil in or the pan back on, the car won't come out of park? does it need to have fluid in it or the pan on for in to come out of park?

Are you getting an error a brake error message? Which parts did you replace? Just make sure you the seal sleeve all the way in until it clicks and ensure the plug is aal the way in. Also, make sure the shift lever is in the correct position (the piece that sits on the side of the valve body and slides back and forth. Other than that you should be good.

Yes I'm getting the brake message error. Ive changed the sealing sleeves, mecatronic seal adapter, and solenoids. Does there need to be oil in it to get it out of park?

No, you need to seal the adapter all the way. That's your issue
