Hi. Hope someone can help,
over the last week my e60 525d has been having electrical dramas. When I'm using a good but not excessive amount of power (sat nav, radio, air con and lights) the radio and a/c with intermittently shut down for a few seconds, and the Speedo and the rev counter will go fully round to the max then return to the previous speed/ revs. Then I get a random fault, either runflat sensor/servo-tronic/battery terminal check.
all the time no loss of engine power, stering or brake function.
I've owned the car since May with no issues. The previous own told me he'd just fitted a new battery (provolt 110ah 900 cca). I've contacted him and he can't remember programming the battery to the car.

any help or pointers will be greatfully revived

If the battery is new perhaps the alternator is not up to the task - maybe get both checked first.

 

would my ac turning itself on again an again sometimes be a sign of a battery going bad? it only seems to do it sometimes and only when the car is in park, if I am driving it wont do it

i want to fix e60 5 series 2007 model fully electric seat,recently it is semi electric seat,i mean have back rest adjustment and head rest adjustment by switch,i need to upgrade to fully electric seat ,i need fully electric seat wiring diagram thats it,if some one can send me the wiring diagram pls send me thanks.
