My Ride: 2004 545i, Sport Pkg, Premium Pkg, Cold Weaher Pkg, Navi, L7, adaptive bi-xenon's, Silver Grey w/ Dakota Black Leather
I purchased the car on Monday from Mercedes Benz of South Bay, CA. They had the car on the lot for over a month and were willing to move it. I showed interest, but not too much interest. The sales person didnt know jack about the car, but I sure did (thanks to this forum, of course)
I think I got a smoking deal on it. Here are the options...
2006 550i Sport
Ti Silver on black leather
Nav
Logic 7
Cold Weather Pkg
Comfort Seats
Comfort Access
Parktronic
Sirius
Only 3k miles
I paid $51,885.30 before tax title and license. Out the door $55750
I ordered the M Aero Kit from EuroRev and will get it installed next week. I already slapped on my 166's from my 2004 545i. I will update with Pics next week. Man this car really moves!!
So what do you think about the deal?

Fantastic deal!!!
Sounds like about $68K new MSRP. Since it was a Benz dealer trade-in, you can be pretty certain it was not a problem car that BMW had to buy back. Well done my man!
Oh yeah - pics please.

If all that checks out OK, it seems like you found the ONE dumbass salesman that exists. That's a VERY good price. Congrats! Get the pictures up in a hurry. What tires do you have on the 166s? What is Paktronic?

Do you know why was it for sale being so new? Was it a repo? Did the previous owner just didn't like it? Was it repaired? Did he/she just trade for an MB?

All the carfax reports checked out. No repairs done, no BMW buyback, no repo. They are a reputable dealer and basically needed to move the car off the lot. Since I kept beating them down on price they knew that I was seriously interested so they checked what they could get rid of it for at auction and it was about $52k, and that is only if there is a demand for the car at the auction on that day. It could even be auctioned off for lower. So rather than going thru all that hassle, they obliged and sold the car to me for what I wanted. In the beginning, I told them $55k out the door. $55750, not too bad!!
Parktronic is the Park Distance Control (PDC)
I have Toyo T1R's on the 166's. 245/35/19 front, 285/30/19 rear. Best tires I have ever owned!
I will get pics up next week when the M-kit is on and the windows have been tinted.
