No problems yet. I had the dealership install Sirius before I picked the car up. I am not sure but I think it may have required a software update (can anyone confirm this??) In that case, my software is 2 weeks old so I think that I'm okay.

My Ride: 2013 M5 - Sakhir Orange / Black Leather.
I had the problem this morning. Got in the car and the presets where gonzo. Drove the car to the gym where it sat for an hour and a half. Got in and the presets where back. Weird.

My Ride: Jan 06 Delivery, 2006 550 Sport , silver gray metallic, clear bra, black leather, step, active steering, comfort seats, logic 7, Nav, head-up display, comfort access, satellite, anthracite trim and headliner, M-body kit, electric sun shade, split fold down rear seats, Hard Wired BEL STi Driver Radar/Laser Detector.
Today, I got into my car and my presets are back again. The car has a mind of it's own!

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
I remember a few years ago when the first guys got their cars eveyone had the preset radio problems. A lot of thoses problems turned out to be when you switched between the keys, as each has a memory for the radio.

guys are you sure u didnt just switch keys...
each key has diffrent settings...when u use a new key..that you never used b4 the key has not been configured...this happened to me...
i used a diffrent key.and had no radio stations...took me a couple of hours to remmber this is a new key, and realize what was happening.....
so did you guys use a diffrent key...espically the guys who their presets came back.????

My first thought was that I must have picked up the spare key by mistake. That was not the issue. My wife has her presets and I have mine. When my presets erased, her key had not been used.

have had alomost not problems with cip version 20.x only once the idrive reboot it self...now i went for an oil change, sunroof adjustment and squeeking brakes (they replaced the pads and sensors 
) and the dealer installed cip 21.xx... i noticed with this one the idrive boots instantly and its a bit quicker..um,,that is it... so far no other problems and almost 12k miles and running strong
