Hey JTBAZZ, what kind of financing promo did you get if you don't mind me asking? BMW was running a 0.9% for 3yrs + first 2 car payments are on them, I heard.

I financed it for 60 months at 2.9% plus they pay the first 2 payments. Being I was upside down in my last car 3 years wouldve been a big payment.
Anyway, I ended up opting for the .9% 3yr deal to finance the whole thing, not a penny down on my deal either! My payments are about $300 more than they would've been going with the 5yr deal but eh whatever, I can always give blood to make up the difference.

Nice! Cheapest rate I could find was from a credit union is 5.49% for 5yrs. The rates banks were quoting were even higher. Didn't we just give them $350 billion?? wtf?

LOL, I hear ya! I financed through BMW and they offered the 2.9%, did they have that option when you bought yours? I told them I didnt want to do the 3 years so they offered me that rate for 5.

You're not going to believe this but, I have nearly the same story! Traded an '04 330xi which I was "lucky" enough to be upside down on the value (found out it must have been hit & repaired w/o having anything on a CARFAX!). Got a CPO '06 530xi w/ 21k mi, premium, sport, cold weather packages, bi-xenon, parking assist and 18" wheels for $32k. Could not resist that deal especially w/ 2.9% for 5 yrs and they let me finance some of the neg. equity from the old car (LI dealership). Man, it is a freakin' GREAT TIME to buy a car. Only owned it a month or so but I love the ride. Absolutely LOVE the ride. Haven't quite adjusted to the "softer" 1st and 2nd gear changes of the '06 3.0 liter compared to the 3.0 liter in the '04. Maybe due to the way the original owner drove the car? Old car seemed to be quicker shifting and "thrashier" than this car. But really, this is not a car to be "thrashing" so, like I mentioned, I love it so far. Oh yeah, I took the extended warranty w/ wheel protection. Figured I would need it w/ the low profile 18" wheels. I think you'll be fine w/ reliability... And if anyone has any insight about my gear shifting comparison b/t the old car and new, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

My Ride: 550i 2009 Mod. with tints all around. Got Splitter and Spoiler coming. May do an exhaust.
Sam Tang here toooo
Accept my first car ever for a Bimmer is the 530 xi with 39,000 miles with all bells and whistles including the wheel and tire coverage, CPO, tinted 30% windows all around which I find is hard to see out of at night when using the rear view mirrors, and 19s on new Bridgestone Potenzas. Now need to Mod with H & R Suspension springs, maybe the AC front and rear spoilers or M Kit, and maybe some light upgrades. The entire car is Sapphire Black except for the wheels and chrome Kidney trim at front grills. Knock on that beautiful Wood Gain in the spacious Cabin of that smooth and quiet ride. Only wish I could get some Computer software to reduce the size of my Pics to post her up.
