2006 525i transmission malfunction - help ?
2006 525i 170k .. had trans serviced (drain refill new pan/filter) after purchase maybe 6 months ago...Trans slipped today between 80 -90mph and red lined briefly but drove fine after for another 40 miles (no error popped up) . Park etc leave to next destination and trans slips upshifiting between 30 and 40mph no error...finally after 4th destination trans slips and error appears on I drive/goes into limp mode. Ofcourse the park and power off n on fixed briefly but it happened back to back to back over the course of another 60 miles round trip.
I got it to 70mph and drove home without error message popping up but yeaaaa... thoughts?

You did a drain and not a flush correct. What procedure did you use to refill. If not the correct procedure then you may not have enough or too much.
