I bought the car 5 hours away from home. Was told it was mechanically sound but 2 1/2 hours into my ride home, it cut off in the middle of me driving. Cruise control set at 85 and it just randomly sputtered a bit and then rpm’s immediately dropped to 0 where I realized I lost engine power and coasted to a stop on the interstate. Tried and tried to restart the car. Had to tow the rest of the way home where about halfway through that trip, I lost all power to the car. Now there is only power when connected to jumper cables. I replaced the IVM module and still nothing. Help please.
