2005 545i HUD change from Mph to Km/h

Hi guys,
I just bought a 2005 545i to replace my 2000 Lexus GS 400, I live in montreal quebec canada, and bought the car from Cali, does anyone know if it is possible or how to, change the HUD from mp/h to km/h?
please let me know, not that it is a huge problem but it is messing with me, since i find myself speeding most of the time! lol

The whole car, in terms of units (km vs mls) should be set in the iDrive. As I recall, press the iDrive button down and you will see a list of options for car settings.
Press the iDrive button, select display options, then select distance/units.

I think i already have the letter of recall,
something like warranty veihicle inquiry letter, i had requested it from the seller, and he got the copy for me,
the car will be here in 4 days, getting excited,
