I've been searching high and low for this but can't seem to find an answer for my particular issue.

I've got an LM2 fitted to a pre lci car, originally replaced due to a faulty LM1 unit. My welcome lights seem to have been pre programmed so I'm a happy chappy where they are concerned.

Question is, with me having an LM2, is it just a simple case of making some rear conversion cables using OEM plugs for the LED lights and running a single wire from the rear lights (in series) to the LM2 unit?

I'm presuming no coding is needed.

Ps, I'm posting in the E60 side as the problem is very much the same on both 60/61 obviously with the additional 2 rears

Would need some coding actually.

And unfortunately, the coding would be a little bit more custom since you're not doing the headlights together.
