First time posting and new member.

I have a 2004 525i with no nav or Satellite. While I was driving i would hit a bump and I would her a crackle in the speakers, then the radio would go soft, then I would hit another bump and it would crackle and come back on,, etc... Then the screen went blank, I smelled burning, and the radio stopped working at all.

When the radio was going on and off and crackling I noticed that if i hit the dash it would crackle and go on and off. Specifically the passengers side.

Now the screen is dead (occationally flashes a white dim screen) and radio dead.

I have checked fuses and they were fine. I have been reading the posts and there is a lot of talk about the MPM and CC units going bad, but Im not sure were the CCC is on my car and there is no burning smell in my wheel well.

Any Suggestions?
