I know this is an 5 series form but got to throw this mystery out there about this 3 series. Ok the coustomer called and said that she was at home where the car had been locked up over night and went otuside the next day to find her cars windows and sunroof wide open also the doors were unlocked. So car came in i pulled it in the shop locked the doors and went back to work on something else. Bout ten min went by then i heard the doors unlock and the rear side windows opend couple min later the windows and sunroof opend all the way. Keep in mind that the key was laying on my toolbox bout ten feet away. So i scanned the all the modules in the car found a code for an internal error on central modgule at the time could not find a discription of the code that i had and no i didnt right it down were i can find it agin. been bout two weeks since the car was at my shop but when it comes back i will right it down so i can post it.Anyways figured that it needed a reprogram of the module so it had to go to the dealer.Got a call from the coustomer the other day and she said that the dealer did a reprogramm on the central and they had no sucess still does it.has anyone seen this before. would like to be able to fix it so i can show up the dealer been doin that alot here lately.
