Default 2004 545i Sport Speed Manual - SOLUTION: Engine cuts out w/ no Messages

My 2004 545i Sport Speed Manual engine cut out a number of times while driving. No warning lights were illuminated. When trying to restart, I would turn the key, all lights on dash light up as normal, but no crank whatsoever. After 10 - 15 minutes of turning the key, the engine starts and runs flawlessly as though there were no issue at all.

After many unsuccessful attempts at resolution at both dealerships and private shops, I began to research and came across the solution. It turn out that the issues I was experiencing were stemming from the IVM. An inexpensive ($74.00 on amazon) box located underneath the cabin micro filter housing (under the hood) on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Carefully remove the micro filter housing, and upon arriving at the compartment containing the IVM, label all the wires leading to the box in order and disconnect them back to front. Truly a simple job, just take your time.
The cause of failure was rain water seeping into the compartment from a clogged drain.
