2004 525i RADIO PROBLEM

Hello everyone on E60
My radio has a mind of its own, it works when it wants to. When I turn on my car, the radio will turn on and then it automatically shuts off. Does anyone have this problem? OR, can anyone offer solutions or alternatives of what I can do? This is driving me nuts! Please email me or reply on the post.

My Ride: 2004 525ia, Olivin green, active steering, sunroof, bi-xenons, power assist, bluetooth phone system, Professional stereo with navigation, sprint booster, Goodyear F1 235/40x18 for in town drives, 16's for country roads
Hi, if your cd player and bluetooth communications also go and there is no response from the i drive, it might be the amplifier(L7). Check the post dated Apr 3, 2006 from f6maniac on SIB 65 09 05.
I've had this problem for some time. Unfortunately i hardly use the car now so the trip to the dealer is low on my To Do List.
