My Ride: (Expecting Oct. 2004) 2005 530i Sport package, premium sound package,premium package, xenon's, HUD, sat radio, cold weather package, navagation
I understand that our 2005 e60 comes with the 2004 owners manual, should we expect they will send us the 2005 when/if it comes out, My book does not tell me anything about bluetooth.

My Ride: MY05 545i Jet Black with Auburn interior. SMG, Logic7, Sport Package, Comfort Seats, Navigation.
I compared my 05 printed manual with the on-line 04 edition downloaded from BMWUSA. Most pages that I flipped thought are word-to-word equal, but I am sure you'll find a thing or two contentwise that are different. It still doesn't say anything about BT though.

My Ride: 05 BMW 530i Orient Blue Metalic with Sport and Premium Package. Xenon Light. 35% tint, Red reflector, 123 type chrome rim.
Yeah, I was fairly disappointed on the manual not stating anything about the Bluetooth. I had to find out the hard way, thanks to this board.
Roost, if you need help configure the BT, just email me. We can meet up somewhere and I can show you. Just make sure your phone is BT enable.

I had no problem with pairing bluetooth once I got my dealer to activate it I just know the book was a 2004 book and dealer says they don't have a 2005 out yet, maybe they won't be printing a 2005 book

My Ride: 2005 530i, Jet Black, Black Leather, Automatic, Cold Weather, Sirius Prep and Radio, Premium Package, Xenon Lights.
One thing I have noticed in the 2005 manual for my 530i is there is no mention of the term MP3. If it was there in the 2004 version, it is no longer there. I guess they gave up on MP3 CD playback. Too bad.
