The style of these original sketches would have been less contoversial, but I think the end result is much more satisfying to the eye. These early shots do look like a blend of the 7 series with a bit of the new 6er in there too.

[/quote]Well, it makes perfect sense. The artists who were extrapolating from disguised test mules only had the 7 series to work from so it's no wonder that it looks like a small 7.

I also like the way the car has a low slung front end look, as on the front cover of the magazine whereas our cars are sort of flat saloon looking!

After all now I'm get used to my car looks, I think that car in those pictures look "old". Current version look "sleek", specially around boot, what is more like Passat have. Front and tail lights are smaller in those pictures and that makes a lot in a looks.
