Well my car is 20 months old today and man I still love this vehicle. When you get in your car after 1 1/2 years and it still brings a smile to your face, that was a good purchase. Now then, looks like my lease is going to expire a couple months prior to the F10 (Oct 09 expiration). Looks like I will be in a rock and a hard place as the F10 will probably be too far out to extend, maybe there will be some good deals on the 09's at the time.
Until then I will continue smile as I accelerate in to the twisty roads ahead.

Yup, and the great thing is that the smiles keep on a comin'. I'm at 34 months of ownership and this amazing machine hasn't grow old on me yet.
One minor point ... in October 2009 when your lease expires, we will likely still have the E60 to kick around - the 2010 model year (final model year of a seven year run).

I am in the same boat, my lease will be up december 2010. Not sure if the e60 will still be around or just the F10. If the e60 is still around I am hoping to get into one more for a shorter lease before the F10. Should be some nice incentives to get an e60 at that time if they are still around.

Been in my e60 since december, almost 8 months now...still brings a smile to my face when I walk up to it in the parking lot or when the valet brings it around...

And still enjoying the acceleration when I drop the hammer...

The car had 250,000 miles and was 13 years old. I drove it 2 hours everyday and honestly...every day I would think to myself "I can't believe what a good ride this car has". Anyway, that is how I ended up with my '08 535i. It has a lot more creaks and rattles than the 525i (even after 13 years), but the ride is just as good!
The satisfaction of driving the car every time I get in it is one the biggest reasons I bought the car. So many cars are just boring. They fall into that Lexus realm of a nice car all the way around but as soon as the new car auroa wears off they become just blah in the driving experience.
