Looks good, gcvt. I still think you shoulda painted your 172's.
Agree with everyone else. Having a lip makes your wheel look smaller than it really is. There should be a lot of info on these wheels if you search it. Lots of members have them. As long as the wheels are balanced properly and your alignment is good 20's shouldn't be a problem. Make sure they are road-forced balanced. Good luck!

20" definitely. Ride and handling not compromised too much. I like the deep dish look. For me, there's nothing that looks nicer than seeing the lip roll on the freeway.

I like the way 20s look but I'm not sure I would like the compromise in handling. If 19s are easy to get bent up just think how easy 20s would be.

If I go 20s, I may just go with 19s in front and 20s in the rear.

+1 on the road force balance .. i just got my wheels put in about 1 1/2 weeks ago and im having vibrations at around 75mph .. went back to the shop and they said that one rim was off by 1oz weight.. fixed that and now im having the vibrations at around 78mph.. so looks like im going to find a shop that does that road-forced balanced job

Just like the one dude said - it's all about personal preference.

Personally I wouldn't go with the matte black because it's a little bit "sportier" (IMO) than the refined deep dish hyper silver look. Not saying there's anything wrong with sporty, as it's a personal preference - just not mine. If you want a sportier look then go with the matte black.

This is my car (sry not s good pic from my blackberry):

I,ve got the 172s and i think they look good. But i do agree that if you want deep dish wheel they will need to be 20's.

Go with 20's

I have 20" Breytons and get nothing but compliments. Sport suspension helps the look too. E60's are big bodies so you need big wheels

This is the only pic I have in my office PC but trust me they looks good!

i went with the 20's because of finding tires if i have a blowout. at times i wished i went with the 19's, like when i hit a pothole, but at other times i'm glad i went with 20's, like every time i'm looking at my car. the way the rear wheels go concave towards the center is so sick!
