where in SD do you live? i can give you a ride to show you how my ride feels with 20's, spacers, and springs. i don't think it's that bad. although my stock 18's feel like pillows. lol

OP I would take his offer. You (and your wife) are the best judge for your comfort level.

Have a square 20 x 9.5 all the way around with no rubbing except for huge bumps or really steep driveways taken too fast. I drive my car fairly hard yet found an almost negligible difference in ride quality going from stock square 17 setup. If you rode in my car you'd be hard pressed to feel that the rims are that large. Ride quality is better than my old g35 when stock.

Btw I'm on stock sport suspension

No. It'd rub like crazy with spacers. 9.5" is pretty wide up front but I love it. Plus like having a square setup and the concave fronts

Wow man. I felt a huge difference going from stock 17" 138s like the OP to 20"s. Your location shows Orlando, FL. From what I remember the roads there is like smooth as glass compared to potholed streets in SoCal. Remember, they developed the Mars rovers in SoCal. LOL!

My old e36 M3 and my G35 were WAY harsher. You could tell a difference if you drove it before and right after but not much. After having this setup for over a year I can't complain at all and nobody has said anything including my grandparents and mom. They didn't notice a big difference either.

I lived in San Diego 2009-2010. It was pretty bad out there, but weather was perfect. Roads in FL are pretty good, though I moved back to the Jacksonville beaches area, that photo is at TPC Sawgrass.

It's all relative but a stock Z would ride WAY worse than my car. I was pleasantly surprised how little it affected the ride. I'm using 245/35 tires (slight stretch) so same size tire as most with 19s
