16.2 Software TROUBLE

ON ORDER
Take it from me FIRST HAND,if you have any problems that you feel you can live with DON"T get the 16.2 upgrade.I primarily went in for the upgrade because my Radio kept coming on by itself.That was corrected but I developed a problem with the BMW Assist. SOS Malfunction keeps coming up on the display.So far I was in 3 days 1 TCU Unit,still the same problem.It became a PUMA Case.Back in 3 more days,again another new TCU Unit,still have the same problem.BMW Rep came down,car went back in,its still at the dealer after 7 days and 3+ TCU Units. They say that they THINK the problem is solved and I'll know tomorrow when it comes out of the sleep mode.I've heard the same thing before.

15.2 to 16.2 a week ago... It's so-so. I actually noticed a lag in preformance, and the prespective view is so-so. But it probably does some things I am not aware of, so if has to be beneficial! Good luck.

Got a call late today from the dealer that my car is ready and the problem is solved.I hope nothing else bad comes up from the 16.2 software.

Wow.. makes me think why mine only took couple hours... I wonder if they only loaded parts of the car with 16.x and not the WHOLE car. *shrugs* Not complaining yet as its working better than before... but I think I should try the BMW Assist to make sure it still works.
