16.2 Doesn't Show Air Conditioning Icons

For those of you that have gotten the 16.2 update, have you noticed that the little driver Icon showing air flow / Automatic status is no longer showing at the bottom of iDrive (no matter what screen you are on)?

Yes, but that's been the case for the past several update versions- back to version 11 or so if I recall correctly.

[/quote]Not true. I had it up to CIP 13.3. The icon would never change if I was not using AutoClimate. I always use the auto setting, the computer adjusts the vents exactly right and even better now with CIP 16.1. The Icon was worthless to me.

My Ride: 2007 Titanium Gray 550i, with sport, nav, HUD, Logic7, sat radio, cold weather, rear side airbags, rear seat heaters, and it goes like a bat outta hell!
I lost the icons way back at 13.x update......and even when it was there, it was always wrong anyway!! My 530 is in the shop right now getting 16.2'd........I hope!! I'm interested to see if I notice any difference. Seems like a lot of the comments about 16.2 improvements have been nav related, and I don't have nav.......

I actually liked the vent icons. I usually don't use the "Auto" setting.
I wish they'd add the exterior temperature to that area though (not just under the speedometer).

[/quote]I had it too through 15? (something) I too noticed it missing right after I noticed my right hand mirror doesn't tilt down when I place the car in reverse. Has this happened to anybody else or I just the lucky one again?

Is the selection button for right and left mirror adjustment set on the left one??? If it is set on the right mirror you mirror will not tilt down in reverse..
