152mph Arizona provided some good long flat stretches without any cars.

Seemed pretty stable for me, but the roads don't seem to be built smooth, so it was moving around alittle and some slight crosswinds.

Going through a school zone @ 25mph feels so slow now.

147 mph on my way back home this morning (57 fwy N) =)

I'ts about the 8th time I hit those kinds of speeds, and the car always feels rock solid.

150+ mph on a long, straight downhill stretch with light traffic early in the morning on the Autobahn. Completely stable switching lanes, about 3/4 throttle. One of those experiences that imprints itself on your brain. Awesome.

Two lanes both empty on the stretch so I could have straddled them if I wanted. I would let off (like I have done before) if I felt she was unstable. The pavement was perfect and the wind must have been behind me or non existant.

Bad pavement causes the instability in this car at high speeds. Had the conditions stayed the same, I could have hit 150mph. Just ran out of room as I drove towards slower traffic.

Quick someone convert that mph for the Americans, just we still use or standard system, we don't believe in metric untis like everyone else...

QUICK learn how to use google and search for "miles, kilometers, conversion" - just beacause you don't use something means you have to stay ignorant of it forever...

Talking

Tested the speed cutoff on the Autobahn, and my 545 is limited at about 160mph range.

Welcome aboard, drdjin !

That is correct, allthough the tach is a little ahead. It's actually 155 mph, but shows 160, at full speed.

Thanks for your warm welcome
Quite frankly, my wife and I were too busy holding on to dear life and didn't even gave it a second try. But we did noticed that the needle ticked around 160 or so for a short while. I just want to know that it could realllllllly do it...... and now happy and proudly placed a deposit on the upcoming M5.....
