My Ride: 2004 545i TITANIUM GREY II on Black Dakota Lthr, Comfort Seats, Sports PKG, Premium PKG, Active/Dynamic Drive, NAV, Winter Package.
Cool

Are the 124 RIMs available in 17"? I'm picking up tomorrow a set of 17" 124s 225/50R17 Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires that has ~5k on them but they look pretty new and got them for good price. I was supprised to see the 124 in 17". Do you think the RIMS are replicas? The guy that is selling them doesn't know if they are replicas or orginals. They looked original to me but I'm not a RIM expert. Please give me your thoughts on this before I pick them up tomorrow. Are the Blizzak good snow tires for the 545i? The RIMs don't have the pressure sensors, is that going to be a problem? Thanks

AFAIK, 124's are OEM 18" only (there is some debate about them in 19" )

So, am I going to have problems with these wheels? I don't care if they are OEM or replica, after all it's only a snow tire. Here's a picture of the tire, your thoughts please.

If you look carefully on the inside/back of the wheels you should find engravings/markings...The oem wheels are made by bbs, you will also see engravings that say bmw and germany. I have run reps before without issues so either way I'd probably take 'em but you should def pay less for reps.

I've got a set of OEM BBS BMW 124 wheels, which would be perfect for snow/winter tire set-up. PM me if you're interested. You can also click the link on my signature at the bottom.
