So guys,

i think the photos from last night did the tires no justice because it was so dark.

so i have taken some photos this afternoon - i am getting used to the 167, my big boss (g/f) calls them the summer flip flops because of the few spokes.

Anyway, enjoy:

on the long run, i am going to order some 5mm spacers for the rear, maybe that will fill up the rear a bit more.

greetings from vienna...

Hi rumman,

Great insert, the only pic we miss is the one with Styling 172's.

I'd go for the Styling 166 or 172's, they both look "big".

I'd love to hear more comments about the tyres...

I think your 167s look good in the day, but as someone on the forum mentioned; mutlispoke wheels like the 166 seem to look better on taller cars such as the e60.

True, the 172s are missing, but what i could do is insert the pictures of the 172 which i temporarily had but which my colleague ended up buying from my tire dealer. his car is also silver gray (535d beast) but touring, but then we would have a thread with all the 19" tires on a silver gray e60

tires are very quiet compared to the dunlops rft (18"), my goodyear winter tires (18" non-rft) and conti sport 2 (19" non-rft) - am pleasantly surprised! am curious how well the thread will hold. the contis did wear out pretty fast - example, my colleage with the 172 and contis - rear has 6mm after 5000km..

the 172 and the 166 look huge on the e60 compared to the 167, but let us wait tiill i get the 5mm spacers for the rear - maybe once the wheel fills up the gap in the rear, the wheels might look a bit bigger - but generally, one does get used to the 167, though i must admit, with the 166, i got looks at every traffic light, something that does not happen with the 167, but then again, i don't buy wheels for looks

No spacers!

The E60 is set for the 172's.

Seeing too much 166 on the road in HK now, most of them replicas and I am starting to appreciate my 123 as they are very rare in HK. Only people who drive 545 have them and there's only a handful of them here in Hong Kong.

I've been thinking about changing wheels but I think I am fine now. However the 172 would be a good alternative though. I have never seen a set in Hong Kong.

Bro those 167 are the most beautifull wheels on e60 I've seen up to date. They perefectly match with the color you have and dont look small at all trust me. As soon as I get some extra $$$ I'm so getting them on my car

Hi,

have had some sleepless nights about whether getting the 167 was a good idea but with time, I am getting used to the looks of it - it does look great, maybe the one thing what i would have liked would be 2 to 3 mm spacers: i had the 166 with offset 28 and 13 mm spacers, this was perfect. the 167 i have now have an offset of 17 which is like having offset 28 with 11 mm spacers - the 2mm does make a difference, believe it or not.

so guys, if anyone getting 166 or 167, i would recommend take the rims with offset 28 and put on 13 mm spacers - no rubbing issues and also looks great and aligned with the front.

cheers

rumman
