Well this past week or so in Phoenix has been well into the 100s for weather and my 530 feels like an absolute mule when its pushing 105 plus degrees. I mean there is just a HUGE difference in the car.

I was dreading a move I am making to columbus, Ohio but now I am just getting excited thinking of those 55 degree summer nights and 30 degree winter days/nights-it will be like a 20 plus hp mod!

anyone else suffering from the ultimate heat soak?

Here in Tucson, the heat is similar and I don't even notice a power drain with my 545i.

I live in warm weather all year round except for our 30 days or so of winter; My car is always the same FAST..

Think of the extra grip your tyres will have on that hot, dry tarmac!

(50 degrees F and throwing down with rain here - my DTC has been chirrping at me all day!)

Be careful what you wish for.

Having lived in both the SoCal/AZ area and now in Western Pa......gimme the heat!!! Oh, and you should not feel sluggish by any means....maybe a slight drop in overall hp, but tq should not drop and your tires should be nice and grippy. Hmm. And it's dry too, so....will have to think about why you feel "sluggish"........

Could have something to do with running the a/c maxed out? My Z4 slows down noticeably with the air running max. I test drove a new 535i this past weekend, wow is all I have to say! The turbos move the car with good speed even with only half throttle. If your 530 doesn't seem to be enough perhaps the LCI is the way to go?
