Yesterday I received a $1000 Check from BMW NA as a result of being a member of the BMW Club for a year prior to purchasing my new 530xit. What a deal! I'd also like to report that after 4500 miles the car has been flawless.

I just sent in my request for $500 (I bought a CPO 545i) - this will be my third reward check! It reminded me to tell several friends I know who are thinking about buying a BMW that they should join BMWCCA. I assume everyone on this forum in the U.S. is a member but if you are not, you need to join today. Dues are $40/yr, and for that you get probably the best BMW car magazine published, the Roundel. And, so long as you have been a member for 1 year when you buy your next new or CPO car, you can get the Member Reward check! Now, if I can just plan far enough ahead to do European Delivery - then I could truly say "It doesn't get much better than this!"

Another way to save some money on the next purchase...I just got the BMW card and enrolled in the reward program that allows you to redeem points up to $5000 back on leases or loans from BFS. Well, you can either earn one point for every two dollars with no annual fee or pay $50 a year and get a point for every dollar spent I went with a point for a dollar and plan on using the card for everything...
sounds like a good card for BMW owners.
mmmm....$1000 for being a member of BMWCCA, $5000 FOR BMW card and $4000 of the price for European delivery my next car will be a 550i for the price of 525i...that's a deal and probably a dream too

this really sucks... here a well specced 550i with warranty package costs $97000. i am sure 99% of the people driving 550i would not
be able to afford them if they had to pay these prices...

And considering gdp per capita here is 7000$/year

Well, I think I already spent the money when I went for the style 124 wheels on the 530.

Miss 525i. I also have the BMW Card. Point for Dollar program as well. Unfortunately, it takes a whole lot of points to get anything worthwhile to save on your car. For every $10,000 you spend, you get $100 dollars. 1% basically. And you have to finance using BMW Financial Services. Great if you are leasing, but in my case, I purchased both vehicles and my Credit Union financing beat the heck out of BMW's interest rate. But, the points can be redeemed for Lifestyles merchandise and service department credits for maintenance and repair on your BMW. The BMWCCA is by far the best deal going.

ED is not too shabby either.

Regards, Mike.

I looked into details of BMW card. It is basically 0.5% rebate (if it's one point for every 2 dollars) or 1% rebate (if it's one point for every dollar) with annual fee of $50.

Not a good deal at all. You can easily get 1% rebate cash rebate from Citibank, etc with no annual fee. Cash is king...
