But I was offended (from a technical, not personal, point of view) at your comment of "if it's anything like every other car out there...you have 2 in each door, one center channel and a sub in the rear deck...". I've owned two BMWs, a Jaguar, an Audi, a Volvo, a Rover, a Vauxhall... and not one of them had this "2 in each door, one centre channel and a sub in the rear" setup that you speak of. So to use the phrase "like every other car out there" is just absolutely ridiculous. I don't think I have ever seen such bull5h!t written by anybody else in any car forum, ever.
Giving wrong information or guessing is a hundred times worse than just not saying anything at all. I believe the saying is "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are an idiot, than to open it and remove all doubt".
So there, dude. Argument request granted.
