The BMWUSA.com website says the standard feature of 2006 525i has 10 speakers. I looked around mine, and could only locate 6. Could someone here lights me up where are those four speakers or I only got 6 instead of 10 as they claimed on their website. I have only standard feature, no logic 7.

Thanks!

I haven't really torn into mine to look at it but if it's anything like every other car out there...you have 2 in each door, one center channel and a sub in the rear deck...

Dude - if you don't know, don't just guess, that was way off.

I believe the following is correct but it's from memory;

Logic 7;
13 speakers.
- 1 centre in dash - mid (1)
- 2 in each front door - mid & tweeter (4)
- 1 in each rear door - mid (2)
- 4 in parcel shelf - mid & tweeter (4)
- 2 under seats - subs (2)

Standard US, Hi-Fi upgrade UK;
10 speakers.
- 2 in each front door - mid & tweeter (4)
- 4 in parcel shelf - mid & tweeter (4)
- 2 under seats - subs (2)

Standard UK (not available on US);
6 speakers.
- 1 in each front door - mid (2)
- 2 in parcel shelf - mid (2)
- 2 under seats - subs (but wired parallel with door mids and very poor) (2)

It's important to note that no matter which stereo you have, the grills will still be there (with the exception of the rear door speakers which are only fitted if you have L7). Depending on your stereo choice, you might have nothing at all under a grill, two speakers under a grill, one speaker under a grill...

You think it is really necessary to cuss like that? I mean you could be taking his WORDS way out of context. Maybe you should be open to criticism.

Some people type the way they talk. I say "Dude" all the time without it being derogatory. In any regard, I just think that language isn't necessary for such a forum. And by that, I mean a forum of adults who are here to talk about their cars. If it comes down to it, maybe you should be the better person. Just my .02
