I was curious as to what type of tires... non - run flats? I am looking forward to the weather changing so I can get my car out of its winter boots...

Ahh - good ole Mary-land I used to do some serious mud-stomping up there back in the day!
When I first bought my Camaro, I used to go to the Hagerstown drag strip just to see what it could do. The last time I did it was when I lived in Savannah and that was 10 years ago. I haven't had much desire to do it since (several years of German autobahn driving can be thanked for that).
I doubt you'll find anybody here that takes their e60 to a drag strip. Seems like everyone is more interested in new wheels, bumpers, lights, and spoilers.
Keep us posted on what you drag against!

^cool I've always wanted to own an late 80's Iroc i basiclly grow up on the drag strip. I used to own a G35 before my 550i and i tracked it all the time but now I don't think I'll be tracking it TOO MUCH!! but i will still track it because i believe in having fun and enjoying your car especially if it's the ultimate driving mechine. but I also understand it's expensive to repair and i thats y I wont track it as much but i still take preventive measures such as Zmax and oil changes a half intervals.
