I am very disappointed in the 08 550i sport seat. I had never experience with any uncomfortable seat like this before. I had owned Volvo 960, Infiniti Qx4, and E46 m3 and never had any problem with those seats. I could drive hours in my e46 m3. I have tried many adjustment for 4 months and yet to find a drivable position. My back and right leg start to feel uncomfortable after 20 minute. I only test drive the comfort seat and I don't recall how comfortable it is. I'm looking to see if anyone in the Atlanta/Georgia area that might be interested in meeting up and compare seat and possibly trade?
Mine is 08 550i sport seat dakota black leather with 35,000.
Looking for BLACK comfort seats and in same condition as mine.

It might take awhile to find the right position. I was kind of in the same boat. I would get my seat adjusted to where I thought it was comfortable, but the next time I got in the car I knew the seat position was off. Just make sure you have the seat adjusted close to optimal driving position and you should be able to get it perfect. Check YouTube for videos on how to adjust seating for efficient driving. There was a clip fomr a BMW driving event that really helped me. Look for the one with the instructor was in a 6 Series.

Not looking to sale. Maybe just trade. I'm not sure why I am experience the uncomfortable seating. Maybe there is way to many adjustment compare to the traditional seat that I am use to or the damn dakota leather are just too damn hard and not breathable! Hard and hot in the summer make my lower back sweat.

Everyone who has gotten into my 08 550I cant believe how great the sports seats are and love the way the wrap around you... I'm 5'10" and find it to be the best riding, most comfortable seats i've had in any vehicle I've owned...
