Here's an idea.

There are people on this forum pulling chips off the DME mother board and soldering new pins in the IVM inside the eBox.

One of those guys would love to look at your old gear shift selector, take it apart, figure out what the heck broke, solder in a new bridge wire
and post the pictures on this forum for all to see.

With all the gear shift selectors that have malfunctioned we have to crack the code on that fault.

For all we know, once you take it apart, its a 5 minute solder job and your done.

I don't mind donating it for the benefit of the membership. However, I don't know if I still have it. This was 8 years ago and I can't remember the last time I saw it.
