Today I saw my first 08 550i Sport in person and the car is AMAZING! However, I noticed that the exhaust tips where in a black finish but in the 08 brochure it shows them in chrome. The car was Carbon Black so I do not know if this had anything to do with it, but for people who have a 08 550i Sport what color are you exhaust tips? I am also looking for photos of the car in Alpine White and Titanium Silver, could you please post links?? Thanks!!

The exhaust tips are a sort of "black chrome" -- the finish is similar to the one on the wheels that BMW used on the E39 540i sport package around 1999 and on.

They look sweet!

Here's a link to some pics that sort of show the exhaust tips on my car before it went through it's PDI:

And here's a link to some pics I took after delivery:

Rudy's beautiful photos make the exhaust tips look black. In reality they are black chrome and quite beautiful.

The exhaust tips are a sort of "black chrome"

This gave my the answer to why the 535i exhaust are the same size as pre LCI V8's.
