hey guys, i'm contemplating lowering my ride just a tad bit....about half an inch to an inch to lessen the current gap!

i have the sports pkg, w/20" Asanti AF120's. for those of you with the combo of eibach pro-kit springs and 20" wheels, can you kindly post some pics?! also, if you can comment on the ride quality and the pros/cons. what price range should i be lookin' at for springs and installation?!

the eibach pro-kit springs has been suggested by a handful of members, but if you feel strongly about another set of springs...pls state your case!

thanks in advance,
john

p.s. a recommendation of a retailer, in So Cal, w/installation would be great.

do it

i have the pro-kit but with 19s. ride quality by many has been said to be closest ride to stock comfort.

between springs it would usually come between the eiback pro-kit and H&R sports. i had mine done at eurorev. call them up and check with them. ask for vincent or ronny. you could also check with member r1racer as well.

ya, i'm def gonna hit up Joe!

that's what i hear, it's basically between eibach and h&r basically. i'd like to close the gap, but not sacrifice ride & comfort.

mind if i ask what you paid for your springs installed?

LOwering will definately look hot! I've wanted to do it for a while too...just never pulled trigger. I would go with Eibach Pro just for the stock ride comfort which as you stated seams to be the broken record comment on those springs.

Make sure you do compare apples to apples though. ex. A 528/535/550 all look and ride the same but have different components from the factory and changing the springs will have a different result on each model.

with sports package you should have a 0.5" drop all around since its a 1.2" drop with standard.

what's the going rate for the eibach pro installed? at least a price range would be helpful.

$400 is "ballpark" according to EuroRev!

I contemplate all the time.
