Ok so i have a 2004 bmw 525i its a base model. The problem started when i left work. I opened my trunk and put my tool bag in and its a pretty big and heavy tool bag. This morning when i went to open my trunk it would not open with the fob the button or the key. I normally use the key. So i called bmw and the lady told me that its most likely the valet switch i searched the glove box and center console with no luck of valet switch so i removed my back seat and tried to pull the emergency cord with no luck iam very frustrated any help would be great because iam stumped iam very hands on so i would like to do the work myself instead of the dealer thanks for your time and hopefully helpful ideas
