I'm doing the Brakes and ordered a full stock kit. No servotronic steering. Bentley manual says Frt. are 310mm dia. X 22.4 min. thickness. What I got are 324mm dia. X 28.4mm min. thickness which match a 528i. New rears are fine. Can someone confirm they're wrong or right? Don't want to disassemble and find out they're wrong then! Thanks for the help!

Hmmm...Bentley does say 310, but looking at Realoem.com is shows both 324 and 310. Best to take off the front wheel and measure it. You can measure the circumference with a string and do the math if that is easier than trying to measure the diameter directly.

Update: I went to Realoem.com and the 310mm are for manual transmission only and not automatic! So I guess I did get the right ones after all! Funny how Bentley doesn't distinguish between them though!

Well my '07 525i does have 310 X 24mm rotors on the front! Now I have to send the 324 X 30mm back for an exchange. My car has an automatic with no servotronic steering. Everywhere I looked said that as long as I had an auto, it would be 324, wrong! Easiest way is to just measure the thickness of the rotor from under the car, just below the caliper. If it's 24mm, it's 310mm dia. If it's 30mm, it's 324mm dia.

Interesting. All the sites I see show manual transmission as 310 and auto as 324. Are you the first owner? Is it possible the rotor fits and someone put the wrong ones on previously?
You might want to see if you can find the part number in the caliper casting.
From what I can tell, it looks like:
310 left is p/n 34 11 6 763 023
310 right is p/n 34 11 6 763 024
324 left is p/n 34 11 6 753 659
324 right is p/n 34 11 6 753 660
