Hi,

been searching for this everywhere but i didn't find anything on Google.

I recently acquired a 550i e60 and i have been bugged by the a dead battery whenever I didn't use the car for 2-3 days. May neighbors say they see my car flashing when they pass by.

I have been researching and found out that it is either caused by the Motion sensor or the Hood sensor. I decided to look for the Hood sensor by it seems i cannot find it. Can anyone help me locating it? I want to zero in on this first prior to me touching to the interior motion sensor.

Please help. I'm in dire need of help. Thanks!

pin switch for the hood is mounted on the right cabin filter housing cover; it looks like a black plastic push pin.
