Default Help 2008 BMW 528xi

My car is making this ticking noise can anybody tell me what it is ?

I don't know what that ticking is, but a trick I often use to narrow these things down is to put a piece of rubber hose to my ear, and then point the other end at various parts of the engine. You would be surprised how much clearer the source of the sound becomes.

They have those mechanics stethoscopes too.

Sounds like injectors or lifters. What type of oil do put in the car? Have you done a reset on the lifters (I think it run at 2.5k for 30 secs then let idle for 5 mins). Don't quote me on that but it's something like that you can google it.
