06 530xi, I need more bass!
I find the bass to be lacking in my 530xi, after reading a few informative threads it looks like the Earthquake SWS-8 is a worthy replacement for subs under the seat (not sure if I need 2ohm or 4ohm though), and what amplifier(s) work? Where do you go for them? Are they plug'n play or a little bit more involved? I would like to avoid throwing a code.

lol, sounds like some work. I actually have a S12L7 solo-baric kicker & amp, but I hear the car seals sound so well you are more likely to cause rattles in the trunk before you fill the bass gap

Any opinions on a better amp to replace the oem one with? Or should I just hook up an external amp to power the earthquakes?
