06 530xi e60 grindish noise

My Ride: 06 530xi e60
While slowing down the vehicle is grinding and rpm drops almost as if it were going to stall. All the same problem. I have not done a fuel pressure test, I might try that(i would have to buy the gauge and get back to you). Last year I did change fuel filter and pump so this is relevant.
Always used 91 most of the time at Sams club, sometimes I go to shell and get 93

If you have ISTA why do you need a pressure tester. You can get the reading from the sensor using ISTA along with a few other useable tests.
