Default 06 530xi e60 grindish noise

Grinding noise coming from passenger front area seems like. Always hear/feel worst first couple miles in the morning then goes away as you drive.

This only happens while braking at stop or turn.

I tried putting it in neutral while braking and it does not make the noise at all

I have owned for 4 years and done numerous repairs and maintenance.

Check out the video( I tried to pick up sound as best as I could)

What do you mean by when in neutral? Are you coasting to braking while in neutral? Does the grinding happen at slow speed stops or higher speed tap braking?

If I put the car in neutral while braking. The noise or feel does not happen.
this only happens at low speed 10mph or less

I had that same exact thing happen and it ended up being my pad wear sensor.

But it could also be pad, rotor, caliper, guiding bolt, anti-rattle clip, caliper carrier or inadequate lubrication.

Would this cause the power down at the end where the rpm drops almost if it were stalling though?
Also wear pad sensor is on driver side and noise is coming passenger seems like

You may have a vacuum leak. What codes is it throwing?

I have done a smoke test and no visible leaks.

Did you read the BMW specific DTC codes?

No codes using ISTA. This has been going on for a few weeks tracking it down.

I was only focusing on the grinding noise. You threw the power / stalling issue in afterward. Let's try to work on one issue at a time. If the grinding is resolved, then move on to the next task. If stalling is the priority, then put the grinding on the back burner for now.

What brand and octane fuel do you use? Have you checked the fuel pressure?
