06 525 vs. 05 530

I am getting an 06 525 for about the the same price as an 05 530. With the new engine the 06 525 is rated at 215 hp 185 Tq @ 2750 rpm. The 05 530 is rated at 225 hp 214 Tq @ 3500 rpm. Question: Will the power of an 06 525 be about the same as the 05 530? It seems to me that although it is still shy by 10 hp, the power peaks at a lower rpm. Thoughts?

I very interested in the performance charateristics now that the US 06 525i has a has 3.0l engine in it. Has anyone tested a 06 525i yet?
